The authors have discussed the run-up flow of a viscous incompressible fluid in a porous circular cylinder using Brinkman's model. The flow is initiated by a constant pressure gradient. When the steady state is attained the pressure gradient is withdrawn and the bounding surface is set into motion with a constant velocity parallel to itself. The results for small and large permeability have been derived.
