Linear deviations of classes of smooth functions on sphere \(S^ N\) (Q802097)

\textit{B. E. Kloc} [Mat. Zametki 18, 97-108 (1975; Zbl 0329.41023)] has established for a class \(W_ p^{\alpha}(1)\) of periodical functions with bounded fractional derivatives on \(L_ p[-\pi,\pi]\) the order of linear deviation from a class \(\tilde W_ q^{\beta}(M)\). This work extends the mentioned result to the multi-dimensional case for the functions defined on unit sphere \(S^ n\) (n\(\geq 2)\) from space \(R^{n+1}\).
