      A separable Banach space X is called a \({\mathcal L}_ p\) space if there is a sequence \(X_ 1\subseteq X_ 2\subseteq X_ 3\subseteq..\). of finite dimensional subspaces with \(\overline{\cup^{\infty}_{n=1}X_ n}=X\) and a constant \(\mu <\infty\) so that \(d(X_ n,\ell_ p^{d(n)})\leq \mu,\) \(n=1,2,..\). where d(n) denotes the dimension of \(X_ n\). More precisely we use that X is a \({\mathcal L}_{p,\lambda}\) space if the minimum of such \(\mu\) 's is no larger than \(\lambda\). A ''good \({\mathcal L}_ p\) space'' is a \({\mathcal L}_{p,\lambda}\) space with small value of \(\lambda\). Now with the use of two well known results on sequences in \(L_ p(\nu)\) spaces the author proves that: If \(K>1\) and \(1\leq p<\infty\), then there is \(\lambda >1\) so that every \({\mathcal L}_{p,\lambda}\) subspace of \(\ell_ n\) is K-isomorphic to \(\ell_ p\).
