On some Euler products. I (Q802604)

In this note the author announces the publication of a series of papers in which he will prove results on the meromorphy of Euler products of a very general type (including Artin L-functions). These Euler products are either meromorphic on the whole plane or have \(Re(s)=0\) as a natural boundary. Results of this nature were already announced by the author in 1978 (see the references at the end of the present note), but proofs existed only in preprint form.
