Qualitative analysis of families of bounded solutions of the nonlinear three-dimensional Schrödinger equation (Q803426)

The previous results of the second author about reduction of the three dimensional Schrödinger equation [see \textit{N. I. Serov} and the second author, J. Phys. A. 20, L 929-L 933 (1987; Zbl 0632.35012); and the second author, \textit{V. M. Shtelen} and \textit{N. I. Serov}, Symmetric analysis and exact solutions of nonlinear equations of mathematical physics (Naukova Dumka, Kiev 1989), 335 p.] are used to obtain existence and asymptotic properties of solutions of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation of the form: \[ (i\partial_ t+(2m)^{-1}\sum \partial^ 2/\partial x^ 2_ i+\lambda | \psi |^ k)\psi =0,\quad k=4/3. \]
