Quantum correlation functions for a nonlinear Schrödinger equation (the other name of the model is 1-D Bose gas) are considered in the paper. Determinant representation is obtained for them. Correlation functions are represented as a determinant of some Fredholm integral operator. Later this representation can be used to deduce a difference equation for quantum correlation function. It is remarkable that this differential equation is closely related to the original differential equation, which was quantised (nonlinear Schrödinger equation in our example). The result is very general and can be obtained in any model, solvable by Bethe Ansatz. It also shows, that the correct language for the description of quantum correlation functions is the language of \(\tau\) functions.
