Some remarks on actions of compact matrix quantum groups on \(C^*\)- algebras (Q803486)

Let \(G=(A,u)\) be a compact matrix quantum group defined by S. L. Woronowicz. The authors construct a natural action of \(G=(A,u)\) on the Cuntz algebra \({\mathcal O}_ 2\) for a finite dimensional unitary representation \(w\in M_ n(A)\). It also gives an action of \(G=(A,u)\) on the UHF-algebra \(M_{n^{\infty}}\) of type \(n^{\infty}\) by the restriction. It corresponds to a product type action when G is a group. They also show that the fixed point algebras under the actions of \(_{\mu}U(2)\) and \(S_{\mu}U(2)\) on \({\mathcal O}_ 2\) and \(M_{2^{\infty}}\) are both generated by Jones' projections.
