Cross-ratios in Moufang planes (Q803932)

By \textit{A. Schleiermacher} a generalization of cross-ratio to proper Moufang planes was investigated [Indagationes Math. 68, 482-496 (1965; Zbl 0185.243)] in which \(char=2\) was excluded. The author gives proofs of Schleiermacher's results which work for all characteristics and partly also in the desarguesian case. She shows that in all proper Moufang planes any cross-ratio preserving permutation of a line is the product of a Jordan automorphism and a projectivity.
