An algorithm for determining the (integer) lattice covering constant of a certain type of n-dimensional polyhedron is established. In particular a special case of a conjecture of \textit{S. K. Stein} [Rocky Mt. J. Math. 16, 277-321 (1986; Zbl 0603.52007)] is verified.
