      Let (T,\(\Sigma\)) be a measurable complete space, Y a metric space and X a Polish one. It is proved that a multifunction F: \(T\times X\to Y\) with \(\Sigma\)-measurable X-sections and upper semicontinuous T-sections is jointly \(\Sigma\times {\mathcal B}(X)\)-measurable iff it is weakly superposition measurable, i.e. \(t\mapsto F(t,G(t))\) is \(\Sigma\)- measurable for each point-closed \(\Sigma\)-measurable multifunction G. If F has compact values and T-sections are continuous, then F is necessarily superposition measurable. Related results have recently been published by \textit{A. Spakowski} [Acta Univ. Carol., Math. Phys. 30, No.2, 149-151 (1989; Zbl 0705.28003)] and \textit{V. Z. Tsalyuk} [Mat. Zametki 43, No.1, 98-102 (1988; Zbl 0655.28004)].
