A new concept of ``modulo p Laplace and Z-transform'' is introduced and generalizations of known frequency results are given. This is used to analyse linear state space systems which are periodic with piecewise constant coefficient matrices. A possible application are switched- capacitor SC networks with nonideal operational amplifiers. A fast program for the calculation of the solutions is presented.
