The authors give new proofs and extend results of Benzaghon and the reviewer on the invertible elements and the zero divisors of the algebra of linearly recursive sequences under Hadamard (pointwise) product. For this, they consider the Sweedler duals of the bialgebras k[X] and \(k[X,X^{-1}]\) with coproduct \(X^ n\mapsto X^ n\otimes X^ n\); the second is a Hopf algebra. Linear recursive sequences may be identified with elements of \(k[X]^ 0\). The authors solve the problem in the Hopf algebra \(k[X,X^{-1}]^ 0\), then deduce it for \(k[X]^ 0\). Effectiveness is also considered.
