Let M be a compact CR manifold and \(H_ b\) be the set of square integrable CR functions with an open subset U such that any pair \(\{\psi_ 1,\psi_ 2\}\) in \(C^{\infty}_ 0(U)\), \(\psi_ 2\) being 1 in a neighborhood of the support of \(\psi_ 1\) and any \(s>0\) have a constant \(C_ s\) so that any \(u\in dom({\bar \partial}_ b)\) with \(u\perp H_ b\) verifies the basic estimate \[ \| \psi_ 1\|_ s\leq C_ s(\| \psi_ 2{\bar \partial}_ bu\|_ s+\| {\bar \partial}_ bu\|). \] Let K be a distribution kernel which is in \(C^{\infty}\) in \(U\times U\)- the diagonal \(\Delta\). Assume that the operator T defined by K is bounded from \(L^ 2(U)\) into itself and moreover, \({\bar \partial}_ bK\in (U\times U)\), \(K(z,w)- \overline{K(w,z)}\in C^{\infty}(U\times U)\) and \[ \| \psi_ 1(I- T)(\psi_ 2f)\| \leq C\| {\bar \partial}_ b(\psi_ 2f)\|_ k\text{ for } any\quad f\in H_ b. \] Then, the author proves that K differs from the Szegö kernel only by a smooth function.
