Jordan-Basen projektiver Räume bezüglich linearer Selbstabbildungen. (On Jordan bases of projective spaces with respect to linear self- mappings) (Q806034)

Many developments of the Jordan normal form of a square matrix are based upon a special basis existing in the underlying vector space. Such a basis is frequently called a Jordan basis for the associated linear transformation. The use of the Jordan basis and/or the Jordan form gives geometric information for projective mappings of a projective space into itself. In this article the author extends the concept of Jordan basis to linear mappings of a projective space into itself satisfying certain weak assumptions.
