The examined differential equation is: \(u''(t)+ku'(t)+bu^+(t)-au^- (t)=p(t)+A \sin (mt+c),\) where A,a,b,k are positive constants with \(a<b\); \(m\geq 1\) is an integer, c is constant, p is continuous and \(2\pi\)- periodic. \(bu^+(t)-au^+(t)\) is accordingly asymptotically piecewise linear. The paper gives conditions on a,b,k and m, which assure that for sufficiently large and positive A there exists a unique, asymptotically stable, \(2\pi\)-periodic solution.
