Asymptotic as \(t\to \infty\) and oscillatory properties of the solutions of the neutral type difference differential equation \[ \frac{d^ 2}{dt^ 2}[y(t)+P(t)y(t-\tau)]-Q(t)f(y(t-\sigma))=0, \] where \(P,Q:[t_ 0,\infty)\to {\mathbb{R}}\) are continuous nonzero on any half line functions, Q(t)\(\geq 0\), \(\tau\),\(\sigma\geq 0\), f: \({\mathbb{R}}\to {\mathbb{R}}\) is continuous, and \(uf(u)>0\) for \(u\neq 0\), are investigated.
