[For part I see the preceding review.] The authors treat here the Liouville equation \(\square u=\lambda \exp u\) (1), and the d'Alembert equation \(\square u=\lambda u^ k\) (2), for the unknown functions \(u=u(x_ 0,x_ 1,...,x_ n)\). First of all they describe the subalgebras L with rank n in the generalized Poincaré subalgebras (AP)(1,n) satisfying the condition \(L\cap V\subset <P_ 1,...,P_ n>\), where \(V=<P_ 0,P_ 1,...,P_ n>\) is the space of translations. They investigate the following cases: (i) \(P_ 0+P_ 1\in L\cap V\) for the equation (1) with \(n=4,\) (ii) \(L\cap V=<P_ 0>\) for the equation (1) with \(n=4,\) (iii) \(L\cap V\subset <P_ 1,...,P_ n>\), \(L\not\subset AP(1,n)\) for the equations (1) and (2). They find the complete systems of two invariants \(\omega\), \(\omega '\) for each L with rank n and reduce the wave equation to the ordinary differential equation with the unknown function \(\omega '=\phi (\omega)\). Finally they give exact solutions of the two wave equations (1) and (2).
