The authors present some algorithms for complex division, modulus, logarithm, tangent and exponentiation. These algorithms are devised in a general form and their corresponding programs are written in Fortran (IBM 3090) (SPERRY 1100/91). The above mentioned routines are designed in order to avoid intermediate overflows, underflows and other sources of numerical errors, especially subtractions between almost equal numbers. Comparative series of results yielded by these programs and by Fortran libraries are given in five tables.
