The authors develop a mathematical model of cell kinetics with supramitotic regulation, that is, a model in which decisions controlling growth of the cell are made not at the beginning of the cell division cycle but at a previous point and their impact is extended to the next decision point, which is located in the next division cycle. The authors provide a derivation of the model based on biological information. Then they analyse the model's asymptotic properties. This is accomplished by defining an abstract semigroup of positive linear operators in an appropriate state space. Numerical calculations based on measurements are presented. The basic integral equation of the paper is the following: \[ n(t,y)=2r\int^{\infty}_{0}f(y,x)H(x-r\tau)\int n[t- (\tau +\sigma),x-r(\tau +\sigma)]d\sigma dx, \] where \(n=(n_{11},n_{12},n_{21},n_{22})\).
