Extracting adjacency relationships from a modular boundary model (Q809633)

A face-to-face composition model (FFC), which belongs to the class of Modular Boundary Models (MBMs), is considered. The face-to-face relationships between components are described by means of a graph, called the connection graph. The authors consider the problem of extracting adjacency information from a description of a solid object in terms of FFC model. Finally, an extension to the connection graph to support instances is briefly presented.
