In this note the authors fix a gap in the proof of Lemma(3.5) in a paper of \textit{J. Huang}, \textit{B. Stellmacher} and the reviewer [J. Algebra 102, 78-118 (1986; Zbl 0587.20011)] where certain rank two parabolic systems belonging to sporadic groups are classified.
