Let \(\Omega ={\mathbb{R}}^ n\times (0,+\infty)\), \(n\geq 1\), and s: \(\Omega\to [0,+\infty)\) be a subharmonic function on \(\Omega\) ; let furthermore \({\mathcal M}(s;y)=\int_{{\mathbb{R}}^ n}s(x,y)dx\) \((y>0)\). The purpose of this note is to prove some results on the behavior of \({\mathcal M}\) for \(y\to +\infty\). The main result is the following. Theorem. Let s: \(\Omega\to [0,+\infty)\) be strongly subharmonic on \(\Omega\) and a be a positive number. (i) If \({\mathcal M}(s;\cdot)\) is bounded on \((0,+\infty)\), then there exist a convex bijection \(\Psi\) : [0,\(+\infty)\to [0,+\infty)\), with \(x^{-1}\psi (x)\to 0\) as \(x\to 0^+\), and a positive subharmonic function, bounded in \(\Omega\) with \({\mathcal M}(v;a)<\infty\), such that \(s\leq \psi \circ v\) on \(\Omega\). (ii) If \(s\leq \psi \circ v\) on \(\Omega\), where \(\psi\) and v are as in (i), then \({\mathcal M}(s;y)=O(y^ n\psi (cy^{-n}))\) \((y\to +\infty)\), for some positive real number c.
