The aim of the paper is to extend some known results on the uniform asymptotic stability of the zero solution of neutral functional differential equations with finite delay to those with infinite delay. These results are formulated in terms of Lyapunov functionals and functions. Earlier a similar job was done by T. A. Burton and the author for retarded functional differential equations.
