This review paper is devoted to the analysis of robust stability properties of polynomials and matrices based on Kharitonov approach. A comparison of continuous and discrete cases is given. Among the questions considered: the edge theorem, interval polynomials, polynomials with polyhedral constraints, interval matrices, matrices with polyhedral constraints. Some unsolved problems are discussed.
