A basis of Eisenstein series of half-integral weight (Q810567)

Let k,N be positive integers, N odd and squarefree, and let \(\omega\) be a real even Dirichlet character modulo 4N. In earlier papers [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 274, 573-606 (1982; Zbl 0503.10016); ibid. 283, 589-603 (1984; Zbl 0535.10026); and Acta Math. Sin. 30, 512-522 (1987; Zbl 0632.10025)] the author constructed bases for the spaces \(E_{k+1/2}(4N,\omega)\) of Eisenstein series (the orthogonal complements of the cusp forms in the spaces of all modular forms) of weight \(k+1/2\) and character \(\omega\) on the group \(\Gamma_ 0(4N)\). Now he gives two applications: He defines a lifting from \(E_{k+1/2}(4N,\omega)\) to \(E_{2k}(N,1)\), and he introduces linear combinations of Eisenstein series which belong to the Kohnen plus space.
