    The author considers in \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\), \(n\geq 2\), the elliptic system \[ (1)\quad L^ iu=\sum_{| \alpha | =t_ i}(-1)^{| \alpha |}D^{\alpha}A^ i_{\alpha}(x,\delta^ su)=0,\quad i=1,...,N, \] \[ \delta^ su=\{D^ ku^ i:k\leq s_ i,\quad i=1,...,N\},\quad D^ ku=\{D^{\alpha}u: | \alpha | =k\},\quad s_ i+t_ i=2m_ i,\quad s_ i\geq t_ i. \] The coefficients \(A^ i_{\alpha}(x,s)\) are measurable functions and for certain \(k_ i<1\), \(\chi^ i>0\), satisfy the Cordes condition \[ (2)\quad \sum_{i=1}\sum_{| \alpha | =t_ i}| \sum_{| \beta | =(s_ i-t_ i)/2}\xi^ i_{\alpha +2\beta}-\chi^ iA^ i_{\alpha}(x,\xi)|^ 2\leq \sum^{N}_{i=1}k_ i| \xi^ i_{s_ i}|^ 2 \] in which \(| \xi^ i_{\delta_ i}|^ 2=\sum_{| \alpha | =s_ i}| \xi^ i_{\alpha}|^ 2.\) The aim of this paper is to prove that under certain conditions the system (1), (2) has a generalized solution, which is a polynomial vector with prescribed degree.
