Let (M,\(\omega\)) be a symplectic manifold with a Lagrangian foliation \({\mathcal F}\) which defines a local-trivial fibration \(\pi\) : \(M\to N\) and \(\lambda\) a semibasic form (called Liouville) such that \(\omega =- d\lambda\). If X is a foliating vector field then there exists a (unique) vector field Y induced by \(\lambda\) such that Y-X is tangent to the leaves. If both vector fields are in the Lie's pseudo-group of all local diffeomorphisms \(\Gamma\) of M then \(\lambda\) is called adapted. Let \(\Gamma\) be the almost-structure obtained by the projection of \(\Gamma\) on N and suppose that the equivalence theorem is true for \({\bar \Gamma}\) (\({\bar \Gamma}\) is in fact a \(\Gamma\)-structure on N). Then it is shown that the equivalence theorem holds for \(\Gamma\) if every formally integrable non-homogeneous system on N - having the adapted Liouville system as associated homogeneous system - is completely integrable. Comment: The geometric framework used is inspired in some Ch. Ehresmann's ideas. The equivalence problem for differential systems has been studied by many authors.
