Three coupled oscillators: Mode-locking, global bifurcations and toroidal chaos (Q810971)

Some aspects of the bifurcation diagram for two-parameter families of torus maps that involve change of mode-locking type are described. Moreover, special bifurcations for flows on the torus which change the set of frequency ration, are investigated together with a large variety of bifurcation diagrams, the toroidal chaos in the neighborhood of such bifurcations and the behaviour of the coupled oscillators.
