We determine the singular locus of the moduli \(W=W_ 1\) of rational Weierstrass fibrations over \(\mathbb{P}^ 1_ \mathbb{C}\). The singular locus has 7 components of dimensions 5, 4, 3, 1, 0, 0 and 3. We also compute explicitly the general singularities which turn out to be cyclic quotient singularities.
