    The authors deal with the reaction-diffusion system with delays of the form \[ u_t=D\Delta u+ F(x,u_t(x)),\tag{1} \] where \(u\in\mathbb R^n\), \(D= \text{diag}(d_1,\dots, d_n)\) with \(d_i\geq 0\), \(u_t(x)(\theta)= u(x,t+\theta)\), \(-\tau\leq\theta\leq 0\), \(\tau> 0\) is the time delay, and the function \(F:\Omega\times C([-\tau,0],\mathbb R^n)\to \mathbb R^n\) is continuous and satisfies a local Lipschitz condition with respect to its second argument. The authors apply the powerful theory of monotone semiflows to describe the global dynamics for (1), when the term \(F\) does not necessarily enjoy the quasi-monotonicity property. Note that such an extension requires some new ideas illustrated by the example in the paper.
