The author studies the inverse harmonic mean curvature flow \(\frac{d F}{dt} = {\mathcal H}^{-1}\nu\) where \(F(x,\cdot)\) stands for an immersion of a hypersurface into \(\mathbb R^{n+1}\), \(\kappa_1,\dots,\kappa_n\) are the principal curvatures, \(\nu\) is the normal vector and \({\mathcal H} = (\kappa_1^{-1}+ \cdots + \kappa_n^{-1})^{-1}\) is the inverse harmonic mean curvature. Provided that the initial surface \(F(\cdot,0) = F_0\) is a smooth strictly convex embedding of the \(n\)-dimensional sphere \(S^n\), it is proved that a solution to this flow exists for all \(t \in [0,\infty)\). Moreover, the author derives a parameterization for these hypersurfaces by their inverse Gauss maps \(Y_t: S^n \to \mathbb R^{n+1}\) in the form \(Y_t = \nabla \overline{S}(\cdot,t)\) presenting a precise formula for the function \(\bar{S}\).
