When the Borel transform of a divergent power series gives rise to a germ which offers singularities on the real axis, its resummation by the Laplace integral transform cannot be performed directly on this multivalued function, but only on a single-valued one, obtained by averaging its different analytic continuations. This resummation will be satisfactory only if this average yields a morphism of convolution algebras which also preserves realness. When the singularities belong to the set of natural numbers, such averages can be defined by their weights satisfying certain infinitely many conditions.
