The iterative procedures introduced by \textit{W.~R.\ Mann} [Proc.\ Am.\ Math.\ Soc.\ 4, 506--510 (1953; Zbl 0050.11603)] and \textit{S.~Ishikawa} [ibid.\ 44, 147--150 (1974; Zbl 0286.47036); ibid.\ 59, 65--71 (1976; Zbl 0352.47024)] have become a vital tool for solving operator equations in nonlinear analysis and its various applications. The authors of this paper study the randomized versions of the Mann and Ishikawa iterative procedures along with a couple of other iterative schemes for weakly contractive and asymptotically nonexpansive random operators on an arbitrary Banach space. Furthermore, they obtain the convergence of an implicit random iterative process for a finite family of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive random operators.
