The paper considers the known representation of one-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equations with a general nonlinear term in the ``hydrodynamic'' form (based on the separation of equations for the real amplitude, \(\sqrt{\rho(x,t)}\), and phase). The evolution equation for the amplitude is identified with a generalized \textit{nonlinear} Fokker-Planck equation for a classical kinetic model, in the form of \[ \frac{\partial\rho}{\partial t} + \nabla\cdot {\mathbf J}=0, \] where the current is \[ {\mathbf J}=D\rho\nabla\left(\frac{\delta S}{\delta \rho}\right), \] with diffusion coefficient \(D\), where functional \(S\) is the system's entropy. It is shown that the classical entropy, with density \(-\rho \ln \rho\), corresponds to the linear Schrödinger equation. Nonlinear equations corresponding to nonclassical/generalized forms of the entropy are highlighted. In particular, highlighted is the nonlinear Schrödinger equation corresponding to the entropy that gives rise to the \textit{Tsallis statistics}, with density \(\left(\rho^q -\rho\right)/(1-q)\), which goes over into the classical density in the limit case of \(q\to 1\).
