Let \(X\) be a closed, oriented \(4\)-manifold, \(Y\) a closed, oriented, embedded, dividing submanifold, and \(X^ {\pm}\) are the two components of \(X\backslash Y\) with cylindrical-ends isometric to \([0,\infty]\times Y\). Use \(\mathfrak{M}\) to denote the Seiberg-Witten moduli space and let \(\partial_{\pm} :\mathfrak{M}(X^{\pm}) \to\mathfrak{M}(Y)\) be the limiting maps. Assume that \(\mathfrak{M}(Y)\) is Kuranishi-smooth and consider \(\mathfrak{M}^{irr}(Y)\), the irreducible part of \(\mathfrak{M}(Y)\). Let \(\mathfrak{M}^{\ast}(X)^{\pm}\) consist of the regular points of the inverse image of \(\mathfrak{M}^ {irr}(Y)\) under the limiting map. We cut each infinite end at place \(\ell\) and glue the truncated manifolds \(X_{\ell}^{\pm}\) along \(Y\). The resulting manifold \(X_{\ell}\) is diffeomorphic to \(X\). The author adapts the work of Morgan and Mrowka in gluing anti-self-dual \(SU(2)\)-connections in the context of Seiberg-Witten monopoles. The author shows that if the limiting maps \(\partial_{\pm} : \mathfrak{M}^{\ast}(X^{\pm})\to \mathfrak{M}^{irr}(Y)\) are transversal, then there is a number \(Lo\) such that for each \(\ell\geq4Lo\), the following holds. To any two regular monopoles \(\xi^{+}\) and \(\xi^{-}\), respectively on \(X^{+}\) and \(X^{-}\), with the same limiting value in \(\mathfrak{M}^{irr}(Y)\), one can smoothly assign a monopole \(\xi_{\ell}\) on \(X_{\ell}\) obtained through a canonical gluing scheme.
