This paper is concerned with the estimation of the disorder degree of the classical static noise. The authors extend a recent analysis, which uses only one qubit as the quantum probe, by using a system of three qubits as the quantum probe. Furthermore, the authors explore three different probing scenarios: common, independent, and mixed environments. Among others the authors conclude that in the independent and in the mixed environment scenario, the precision of the estimation can be improved by using a system of three entangled qubits instead of only one qubit as the quantum probe.
