In this paper the authors study minimal surfaces immersed in a three-dimensional Kropina space. Firstly, they obtain the characterization of the partial differential equation for a surface to be minimal in the Kropina space. Next, they consider three different immersions, the surface of revolution, the graph of a smooth function, and the translation surface in the Kropina space. In Section 3, they study the minimal surfaces of revolution and find the generating curves which gives the minimal surfaces explicitly. In Section 4, they study the minimal surfaces as the graph of a smooth function and obtain a Bernstein-type theorem. In the last section, they study the minimal translation surfaces and prove that plane is the only such surface.
