Let \(k\) denote a non-archimedean local field of positive residual characteristic \(p\), and let \(K\) stand for a maximal unramified extension of \(k\), whose residue field we identify with \(\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p\). Let \(G\) denote a reductive group over \(K\). For \(x\) in the Bruhat-Tits filtration \(\mathcal{B}(G, K)\), we denote by \(G_x\) a corresponding parahoric subgroup and let \(G_x = G_{x,0} > G_{x, r_1} > G_{x, r_2} > \cdots\) stand for the Moy-Prasad filtration [\textit{A. Moy} and \textit{G. Prasad}, Invent. Math. 116, No. 1--3, 393--408 (1994; Zbl 0804.22008); Comment. Math. Helv. 71, No. 1, 98--121 (1996; Zbl 0860.22006)]. We identify \(G_x / G_{x, r_1}\) with the \(\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p\)-points of a reductive group \(G_x\), and \(G_{x, r_i} / G_{x, r_{i+1}}\), \(i > 0\), with an \(\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p\)-vector space \(V_{x, r_i}\) on which \(G_x\) acts. In the paper under the review, the author introduces a class of so-called good reductive groups, which contains reductive groups that split over a tamely ramified extension, simply connected and adjoint semisimple groups etc., and shows that for that class of groups the Moy-Prasad filtrations are independent of the residue field characteristic \(p\). For a good reductive group \(G\) over \(K\) and \(x\) belonging to the Bruhat-Tits building, the author shows that the Moy-Prasad filtration representation of \(G_x\) on \(V_{x, r_i}\) can be obtained as a special fiber over \(\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p\) coming from a certain split reductive group scheme, which allows one to compare the Moy-Prasad filtration representation for different primes. The author also provides a new description of the Moy-Prasad filtration representation for reductive groups that split over a tamely ramified field extension of \(K\), which was previously known only for sufficiently large primes \(p\) [\textit{M. Reeder} and \textit{J.-K. Yu}, J. Am. Math. Soc. 27, No. 2, 437--477 (2014; Zbl 1284.22011)]. Moreover, the author shows that such a description holds for all good reductive groups after a base change, and obtains a global version of such a result. The global version of the Moy-Prasad filtration representation allows the author to describe the representations occurring in the Moy-Prasad filtrations of good reductive groups in terms of Weyl modules. As an application, the author provides a criterion for the existence of stable vectors Moy-Prasad filtration representation for all primes \(p\) in large class of semisimple groups, extending the results of [\textit{M. Reeder} and \textit{J.-K. Yu}, J. Am. Math. Soc. 27, No. 2, 437--477 (2014; Zbl 1284.22011); \textit{J. Fintzen} and \textit{B. Romano}, Compos. Math. 153, No. 2, 358--372 (2017; Zbl 1373.22024)], and obtaining new supercuspidal representations for a class of non-split \(p\)-adic reductive groups, including non-tame groups.
