A survey of the modified Moran process and evolutionary graph theory (Q826319)

This survey paper belongs to the field of evolutionary dynamics. It consists of two parts: 1) presents a survey of the field from the XVIII century to mid XX century, until the genetic models of Wright-Fisher and Moran; 2) surveys of recent mathematical and algorithmic results on the adaptation of the Moran process due to \textit{E. Lieberman} et al. [``Evolutionary dynamics on graphs'', Nature 433, No. 7023, 312--316 (2005; \url{doi:10.1038/nature03204})]. A survey of the results related to the absorption probability and the absorption time is also presented.
