Some new classes of positive operators depending on some real parameters and their main approximation properties related to real-valued functions are considered. These operators generalize the well-known Durrmeger-Iain, Păltănea-Szász-Mirakjan, Baskskov-Szász operators. For continuous and bounded functions defined on an unbounded interval the rate of convergence in terms of the modulus of smoothness is established. The main working tools are Bohman-Korovkin theorem, weghted \(K\) functional and moduli of smoothness.
