    The authors study the initial-boundary value problem of the logarithmic wave equation \[ \begin{cases} u_{tt} - \Delta u + u + u_{t} = u \ln |u|^{k}, &x \in \Omega, t > 0,\\ u(x,0) = u_{0}(x), u_{t}(x,0) = u_{1}(x), &x\in \Omega,\\ u(x,t) = 0, &x\in \partial \Omega, t > 0, \end{cases} \] where $\Omega$ is a bounded domain in $\mathbb{R}^3$ with smooth boundary, and $k \in (0,1)$. The purpose is to show the existence of the inifinite time blow-up solution with arbitrary high initial energy. The proof of the global existence part is based on the logarithmic Sobolev inequality. The infinite time blow-up is proved by a certain lower bound of the functional \[ \mathcal{S}(t) = \| u(t) \|_2^2 + \int_0^t \| u (\tau) \|_2^2 \,d\tau. \] This result gives a partial answer to the open question proposed by \textit{Q. Hu} et al. [Appl. Math. Optim. 79, No. 1, 131--144 (2019; Zbl 1415.35043)], in which the cases of negative energy and small positive energy are studied.
