A pseudo-Riemannian manifold \((M,g)\) is curvature homogeneous up to order \(k\) if, for any points \(p,q\in M\), there exists a linear isometry \(\phi: T_pM\rightarrow T_qM\) such that \(\phi^*(\nabla^iR(q))=\nabla^iR(p)\) for all \(i\leq k\). When \(k=0\), \(M\) is called curvature homogeneous. A locally homogeneous space is curvature homogeneous up to any order. If \(\dim M=2\), curvature homogeneity (up to order \(0\)) implies local homogeneity. Sekigava proved that a three-dimensional Riemannian manifold which is curvature homogeneous up to order one is locally homogeneous. Bueken and Vanhecke found examples of nonhomogeneous Lorentzian three-manifolds which are curvature homogeneous up to order one. Bueken and Djoric proved that curvature homogeneity up to order two for three-dimensional Lorentzian manifolds implies local homogeneity and they classified three-dimensional Lorentzian manifolds curvature homogeneous up to order one. For studying 3-dimensional Lorentzian manifolds, it is convenient to use the four Segre types of the Ricci operator. Bueken and Djoric proved that nonhomogeneous Lorentzian three-manifolds which are curvature homogeneous up to order one can be only of Segre type \(\{11,1\}\) or \(\{21\}\). In this paper it is shown that three-dimensional nonhomogeneous curvature homogeneous Lorentzian metrics exist for all four Segre types of the Ricci operator, except in the degenerate diagonal case with three equal Ricci eigenvalues, when the manifold has constant sectional curvature.
