On a coreflective hull in \(L\)-TOP (Q835247)

It is known that the coreflective hull of the Sierpinski space in the category of topological spaces is the category of Alexandroff spaces. In this article, it is shown that this is no longer true for lattice-valued topological spaces. Precisely, let \(L\) be a frame. The \(L\)-Sierpinski space is \((L,\delta_S)\), where \(\delta_S=\{\underline{0},\underline{1}, id_L\}\). Then the coreflective hull of \((L,\delta_S)\) in the category of \(L\)-topological spaces is not the category of Alexandroff \(L\)-topological spaces. A characterization of of the coreflective hull of \((L,\delta_S)\) is obtained.
