The authors investigate the convergence behaviour of bounded sequences of fuzzy numbers. The choosen topology is the usual one: the supremum of Hausdorff distances wrt alpha-level sets. They prove and compare some results wrt limes inferior (liminf) and limes superior (limsup). Especially they discuss situations where equivalent definitions of liminf and limsup in the real case now for fuzzy numbers are not equivalent. Furthermore they discuss the core of a bounded sequence \(X\) of fuzzy numbers, and they prove core(\(X\)) = [liminf\(X\), limsup\(X\)].
