Here is, indeed, a really wonderful book treating in detail one of the most modern problems of basic sciences, namely to find a unified theory of matter, radiation and everything else. Starting with a precious account of ancient knowledge of the east (India) as well as the west (Greece) about the essentials, the text covers quite a good number of subjects beginning with the notion of numbers (zero to infinity) going through waves, fractals, strings\dots almost all aspects of the scientific knowledge since the big-bang event and all that. It is a great intellectual feat that the authors have offered here amounting to a good feast of such a variety of facts and phenomena in mathematics, physics and philosophy. All the anxious souls eager to understand reality of the universe, mysterious nature of the human mind and all other connected concepts and thought processes ought to be grateful to everyone involved in this truly welcome project. It requires gigantic efforts to come up with such a useful publication for which those who are responsible for it deserve deep thanks and appreciation. There are 5 chapters on the whole apart from a preface, bibliography and index. The Basic Problem of Mathematics and Physics are dealt with in chapter one, next is on Mathematics of Grand Unified Theory, then GUT, followed by Theoretical considerations, and finally on the main Hybrid Unified Theory itself. In this 132 page write-up there are 135 entries in the bibliography. The book is covering a vast area of information including the mind and consciousness. Perhaps much more work is waiting, particularly concerning many modern topics in mathematics, theoretical physics, philosophy and other sciences as well.
