Let \((R, \mathfrak m)\) be a noetherian graded algebra over a field of positive characteristic \(p\) and \(J\) an \(\mathfrak m\)-primary ideal. The authors are interested in behavior of socles, minimal free resolutions and syzygies of \(R/J\) and its Frobenius power \(R/J^{[q]}\) where \(q = p^e\). To study this, they describe the minimal free resolution of \(R/J\) by the degrees of generators of socle of \(R/J\) when \(R\) is a \(2\)-dimensional hypersurface ring and \(J\) the image of a height \(3\) Gorenstein ideal in the \(3\)-variable polynomial ring.
