The author deals with the dynamic problem for a thermo-viscoelastic Mindlin-Timoshenko plate with hereditary heat conduction. It is described by the system \[ \begin{aligned} &\alpha_0v_{tt}-[\lambda_\infty+a(0)]\mathcal{A}v -\int_0^\infty a'(s)\mathcal{A}v(t-s)ds+b(0)(v+\nabla w)\\ &+\int_0^\infty b'(s)[v+\nabla w](t-s)ds+\beta\nabla \theta +\nabla\varPhi(v)= 0,\\ &\alpha_1w_{tt}-b(0)\text{div}(v+\nabla w) -\int_0^\infty b'(s)\text{div}[v+\nabla w](t-s)ds+g(w)=0,\\ &\gamma\theta_t-\int_0^\infty \kappa(s)\Delta\theta(t-s)ds+\rho(0)\theta+\int_0^\infty \rho(s)\theta(t-s)ds+\beta \text{div}\,v_t=0. \end{aligned} \] She proves the existence of a compact global attractor whose fractal dimension is finite. The attractor is upper semicontinuous as the relaxation kernels fade in a suitable sense.
