The authors use the multiple reciprocity method in order to transform a linear eigenvalue problem for a partial differential operator into a nonlinear eigenvalue problem for an associated boundary integral operator. This nonlinear problem is solved by the Newton method. They also analyze the convergence of this algorithm and provide some numerical examples.
