The authors define Dirichlet's \(L\)-functions (mod 5) by \(L_j(s)=\sum_{n=1}^\infty\chi_j(n)n^{-s}\) where \(\chi_0\) is the principal character, \(\chi_3\) is non-principal real character, and \(\chi_1(2)=i\), and \(\chi_2(2)=-i\). They denote a Dirichlet series \(L(s)\) by \[ L(s)=\frac{\sec\theta}{2}\left(e^{-i\theta}L_1(s)+e^{i\theta}L_2(s)\right), \] where \(\theta\) is the root of the equation \(\sin\frac{2\pi}{5}+\tan\theta\sin\frac{4\pi}{5}=\frac{\sqrt{5}}{2}\) inside the interval \((0,\frac{\pi}{4})\), which is \(\theta=\arctan\left(\frac{\sqrt{2}\sqrt{5+\sqrt{5}}-\sqrt{5}-1}{2}\right)\approx 0.2767872\). Main result of paper asserts that for given nonnegative integer \(k\), the number of zeros of \(L^{(k)}(s)\) in the region \(\text{Re}(s)<0\) and \(0<\text{Im}(s)<T\) is greater than \(AT\) as \(T\to\infty\), where the positive constant \(A\) is not depending on \(k\).
