The authors focus on the nonlinear dynamics of the time series obtained for the system particle under the \(N\) harmonic oscillators. The tools used in the analysis are the Lyapunov spectrum, phase space dynamics, power spectrum and the Kaplan--Yorke dimension. Numerical evidence shows the connection between the variations of the particle energy time oscillation with the time averaged energy decay and trapped trajectories.
